My heart belongs to my beloved one. My soul belongs to the wilderness

Scootaloo was the pony known for her lack of foresight, but her loss drives Applebloom to run off in desperation, trying to fulfill one of the last promises she made to one of her closest friends.

This was a 60-minute challenge that I did for myself, just to get started on actually writing something. I took one hour to write this out with no forethought or planning whatsoever. I didn't even know what was going to happen when I first began. I hope the end result isn't too terrible- please give honest but considerate feedback. Personally, I kind of like how it came out, except for being a rather short little tale. If it's well-liked, and requested, maybe I'll write more.

This is actually quite touching, well done. I like that you don't explicitly spell things out, it makes it feel more 'real'.

God damn, that was actually really good.

I could totally picture Apple Bloom doing that if Scootaloo or anyone she ever held dear met their end in the depths of the ocean, it's always hard to lose someone you know and love wheter it be as a friend, a family member, a soul mate, a mentor, or even just a random stranger who you barely knew but was kind enough to spend time with you. :applecry:

As someone who lost a friend in 8th grade, and a grandmother in 12th grade I can easily feel the pain Apple Bloom feels right now. :pinkiesad2:

You hear me Apple Bloom, you're not alone out there. :fluttershysad:

And now I shall dedicate this beautiful piece of music to a filly who passed before her time. :fluttercry:

(I just watched this scene along with the rest of the movie yesterday and I'd be lying if I said I didn't tear up on the inside. Vince DiCola you were a genious my friend.)

so many feels.. applebloom is like:applecry:
and scootaloo is:scootangel:

Don't think of it as "short"; think of it as "not a single word wasted."

Well that answered my question...I hate sad stuff and something like this with...:pinkiesad2::raritydespair::fluttercry::applecry:
Yeah I can relate but can't bring myself to read...maybe one day...

wow, just wow, no words can truly form my opinion on such a sad fic like this. :fluttershysad:

This story reminds me of Twilight Sparkle Makes a Cup of Tea. We're given no indication of what happened, but it makes the story that much better. An enjoyable read for something so short.

Thanks everypony, I'm glad my little story ended up being well-liked  And in a couple weeks I'll be done with finals and enjoying a month-long winter break, when I shall be able to write more stories. Yay! :yay: I'm not sure yet what they might be about, although I have a few ideas that have been rattling around in my head for a while. Maybe I'll even get started on some more writing by the end of next weekend. But until then, I'm off to study *grimace*

You fired the feels cannon right at the chink in my armor: Scootaloo. :applecry:

Thanks for the review! I fixed one indenting/dialogue error that I noticed, and maybe I'll do the other ones if/when I feel like it or have more time.

:pinkiegasp: Well, then that's good. I have handed you feels via a literary medium. I accept the resulting name-calling.

And everyone else, thanks again for the likes
